A LOT of people have been hounding me when my next album IMpervious is coming out. To be perfectly honest, it has been a really tough year financially and emotionally. I have moved from Seattle to Walla Walla WA and back again, My marriage ended and I basically had to start over from the ground up. SO! I wanted to give my fans/peoples SOMETHING to let them know that IMpervious IS coming. I basically have two singles. The first being "Remainder" featuring two people with whom I have worked with for a very long time Petty-P and Nickels Hawkeye of Oldominion/Comunalien/Lojique/Dropsci Giants/The Shake Down/206 Zulu Nation. And the Second is called "Pity Pot" which will have a video accompanying it. Both Songs are produced by Sapient of Sandpeople/Debaser. Awesome beat smith. PLEASE Enjoy this song, and know this.... IMpervious WILL be coming sooner than you think

latest Soul the Interrogator Updates
So I know WAY back in December I said that my new album "IMpervious" would be finished by now. Well, to be honest, life happened. A LOT OF LIFE. Not gonna touch on all that but I finally jumped into the lab for the first time in 8 months! Got everything done (Just waitin' on some guests to drop verses). Then I am finished!!! For real for real for real for REAL this time. I added a song and made it into a "Posse Cut" if you will. The song is called "Never Stop" and the production is by none other than Nitro Fresh of Saturday Morning Cartoon. It features Prawphit on Point of J.P.S., Young Thyn, Petty-P, On1, Indijinis, Un Tha Rhyme Hustla, and Jonnie Storm. I promise you... THIS JOINT IS FIRE!!! It will be the final song on IMpervious.
I been Nagging the fine folks at Mysterium Media Group about exactly WHEN my official video for "Pity Pot" will be finished. Its in the works folks I promise. There have been some super major changes going on in MMG which will be for the good of the label and artists. I can't really touch on that too much right now but you will know in time. The video is going to be done. We are also in the works of the next video "Remainder" featuring Petty-P and Nickels Hawkeye of Oldmoninion/Lojique/Comunalien/The Shake Down. The only hint that I will give you is that if you like some ol Ruck Tyler Durden then you finna go nuts!
Speaking of the Shake Down... Wait, I haven't even TOLD you about the Shake Down. There be some new Sheriffs in town named Nickels Hawkeye and Soul the Interrogator. They make up the group "The Shake Down". We have decided to keep this in the vein of Gang Starr, Blue Scholars, Common Market, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Dark Time Sunshine, and Saturday Morning Cartoon. Not necessarily in "style" but in the form of Producer/Rapper duo. Nickels Hawkeye handles the production and DJ'ing (Ocassionally MCing) and I handle the MCing (Occasionally producing). We officially have 3 songs under our belt and about 6 in the Que. as soon as IMpervious is done, we are going hard in the paint for our album "Break Neck Speed" (and I promise it won't take 3 yrs to get done. 2 maybe, but not three.)
Recently, I was in an online competition sponsored by Spin Magazine, Pop Chips, and Reverbnation.com called "Pop Up Live" competition. The competition was voting through free downloads. 5 cities and over 200 bands, musicians and MC's were involved, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Seattle. the top four groups from each region would go onto the next round. It was a tight race but unfortunately I did not make it to the next round. But I made and met a lot of new fans. The song that I used was "Love & Happiness" produced by Nitro Fresh, which was a "Single" on me and DJ Peg's "Graffiti Post Mixtape VOL I" Nitro flipped the sample by- you guessed it- Al Green's song of the same title. I enjoyed it and wish the best of luck to the SEATTLEITE who will perform on the SPIN MAGAZINE stage at South By Southwest this March.
Anyway, that is it for now. Keep yer ears peelt.
